— Magazine

A magazine compiling articles about paper and the future of print design. The magazine was bound by hand, with each of the articles printed onto a GF Smith paper which related to its specific subject matter.

Papers used include a variety of Colorplan weights and colours, tracing paper, Gmund Treasury Nature, newsprint, Softy, Plike and Peregrina Majestic, with some elements cut out or duplexed by hand.

The magazine’s name is derived from the Chinese word for paper – reflecting the origins of the material and the way it has come full-circle so that now, in the 21st century, China produces 24.9% of the world’s paper.
